Job Description: We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. You will be directly responsible for all construction operations and report directly to the executive team. This position will deal with all types of construction, mostly kitchen and bathroom remodels and the occasional basement, or any random custom projects. This is an independent contractor (1099) position with profit sharing and ownership potential after proven success in the role.Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation
- Review project designs with the executive team
- Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
- Create estimates for projects
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Management of inventory, tools, and equipment
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Prepare daily project status reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Interface and collaborate with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with subs and external vendors on contract agreements
- Submit permit applications and manage inspections through closeout
- Ensure all deadlines are met and schedules are adhered to
- Hire sub-contractors and construction laborers
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Identify scope changes and promptly issue change orders for approval
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment
- Interpersonal abilities, including team leadership
- Understanding of construction management processes
- Ability to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties
