Outdoor Sales – Sales Manager Home Improvement – Kitchen & Bathroom
Job Description: We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. You will be directly responsible for all construction operations and report directly to the executive team. This position will deal with all types of construction, mostly kitchen and bathroom remodels and the occasional basement, or any random custom projects. This is an independent contractor (1099) position with profit sharing and ownership potential after proven success in the role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation
  • Review project designs with the executive team
  • Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
  • Create estimates for projects
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Management of inventory, tools, and equipment
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Prepare daily project status reports
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Interface and collaborate with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with subs and external vendors on contract agreements
  • Submit permit applications and manage inspections through closeout
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and schedules are adhered to
  • Hire sub-contractors and construction laborers
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
  • Identify scope changes and promptly issue change orders for approval
Job Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities: Dreamworx Home Improvement Sales Manager will manage the Sales Team while closely assisting with potential and current customers and helping them through their remodeling project. Consultants are vital in helping interested homeowners understand the processes, material differences, installation, etc. in remodeling their homes while proactively earning their business. 
  • Capitalize on sales opportunities with warm leads provided, and supplement with personal leads and referrals
  • Sell or be Sold mentality with in-home presentations and proposals
  • Close the sell

Appointment Setter/Canvasser 

We are seeking an Appointment Setter to join our team! Responsible for recruiting, building, training, and maintaining your team. You will be directly responsible for all appointment setting and door-knocking operations and report directly to the executive team.

You will be working with homeowners to schedule In-Home Consultations for our Sales team. Communicate with people by knocking on their door, calling, or texting them. Manage time effectively to achieve specific goals within prescribed time periods. 

Responsibilities:

Canvass qualified neighborhoods door-to-door 

Set appointments with customers to discuss remodeling their kitchen or bathroom

Requirements:

  • Canvasser experience is a plus, but not required
  • Comfortable knocking on doors
  • Works well under pressure
  • Ability to self-motivate
  • Can perform with minimal supervision
  • Great communication skills
  • Physical ability to work on your feet
  • Personal transportation
  • Cellphone
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Schedule:

Flexible
Full-time, Part-time
Monday to Friday

Compensation:

(Base, plus commission)

$18.00 to $20.00hr, DOE

  • Comprehensive knowledge of product and kitchen/bath design trends; able to suggest appropriate related products for purchase
